Early Arrival or Late Departure?
Spend your time in a typical local Thai restaurant or beach club right on Bangtao beach
For early arrivals or late departures which do not fit in with our check in and out times, we have a plan in place.
Our driver Jone can meet you at the airport, and take you to a beachclub/restaurant/hotel on Bangtao beach, so that you can pass the time waiting for the villa to be ready for you. Relax and have lunch before your afternoon check in. Jone will then return to the restaurant to pick you up and take you to the villa.
When she meets you at the airport, she can take all your luggage straight to the villa, so make sure you have a day-bag separately, with things you will need for the beach.
On departure we can do the same thing in reverse if you have a late flight out of Phuket. You need to check out of the villa by 12 midday. Jone can take you to a beachclub/restaurant/hotel to have lunch, relax and wait for your flight. There are hotels that give day passes, and if you have a long wait it would be worth booking a room or two in advance, so that you will be able to relax and shower before your flight.
There are several places we recommend, and many other possibilities as well.
1) The Andaman Bangtao Beach resort
This is a casual dining place right on the beach at the southern end of Bangtao beach. It is part of a 3 star family run beach hotel. Very nice and helpful staff, and the manager speaks perfect English. Good prices too. This place has the advantage of being open from 7 am in the morning, all day, 7 days a week. You can hire long-tails on the beach and go snorkelling.
This is a little way down the beach from the Andaman, more upmarket, higher prices, but better for large groups, and has sun loungers for relaxing. Opens from 11 am to 10 pm.
This is next door to Catch Club right on the beach.
This is a typical simple Thai restaurant where you can relax in the shade, enjoy a massage, or sample some genuine thai dishes home cooked in this family restaurant. Good food, and plenty of room for large groups.
